2014 BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

 

Date:          Tuesday, October 21^st, 2014

 

Location:   Melas Park, 1500 W. Central Road, Mt. Prospect 60056 (Hersey’s course) NOTE: New location due to construction at Willow Stream Park.

 

Schools:      Buffalo Grove, Fremd, Hersey, Fenwick, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Lake Zurich, Niles North, Niles West, Wheaton North, Wheeling, Zion Benton, Naperville North, Palatine, Downers Grove North

 

Course:      Map is attached.  We will follow the FS/JV course—2 laps along the solid line.

 

Time           4:30 pm – Freshman Race

                   4:50 pm – Sophomore Race

 

Entries:      Unlimited entries for both races.  The mascot race will occur during the Sophomore race—they will just run the first mile of the race and then finish.

 

Information:  Pick up your packet at the shelter by the finish chute when you arrive at the park.

 

Awards:     25 awards shall be given to the top 25 finishers in both races.  Awards will be given to the top three teams in each race.
