Are you looking to do a little spring cleaning as the weather warms up? Do you have clothing, apparel, or other denotable items collecting dust and taking up space at home? The Boys Track Team can help with that while also contributing to a good cause!
The Boys Track and Field Team is having a Donation Drive Fundraiser throughout the month of April. We are partnering with Savers Department Store in Downers Grove to collect retail donations. For each bag of items collected, the Boys Track Team will receive up to 20 cents per pound.
We will be accepting retail donations from Saturday, April 9th – Wednesday, April 20th. This includes our main collection night on Wednesday, April 20th from 6pm – 8pm in the Prince Street Parking lot outside of Carstens Field where we will attempt to fill an entire moving truck with donations. Any donations that need to be dropped off between April 9th and April 19th will need to be dropped off at the Savers Store in Downers Grove.
We will also be holding a team Cookout/BBQ during the main collection event on April 20th from 6pm – 8pm, in which all are welcome to attend! The team will be cooking out and eating around the concession area on Carstens (or the café if weather doesn’t cooperate) after practice that night. For a separate monetary donation to the program, you get a plate in which you can fill your heart’s content!
